SMALL FIELDSSeveral small fields in the stakes and allowances feature two horses that tower above the rest. The two are closely matched on full-dress handicapping. If one is overbet, the other underbet, prefer the underbet horse - every time. If A is 8-5 and B is 5-2, bet B. If handicappers convert the opportunity four of ten times, profits can run high. On 5-2 shots, profits after ten wagers and four winners would total $8, or 40 percent on investment. Very nice, indeed! If
two horses in a small field are low-priced co-favorites in the betting
but one is a fraud, key the genuine article in exactas with other
overlays.
